Tips on Getting The Right Size Dining Table
When deciding on the right dining table size, take into account the following:
* Height – The standard height is 29.5 inches (75 cm). You can go as low as 27.5 inches (70 cm) if you tend to be small frame. Dining chairs should be 18 inches (45 cm) high at the seat.
# Numbers – Decide how many people you can seat. Each person requires about 24 inches in width. Leave about 4 – 6 inches (10 - 15 cm) in between.
# Clearance – Keep the table at least 24 inches (60 cm) away from the wall on all sides so that getting in and out is easy.
